October 2010. Yi Xian receives a Student Participation Grant from 35th Annual IEEE Local Computer Networks Conference (LCN 2010) to present the paper "Look-Ahead Routing and Message Scheduling in Delay-Tolerant Networks".

May 2010. Dr. Huang receives a Summer Faculty Fellowship Award from AFRL and will work on coordinating hardware routers to support early filering of botnet unwanted traffic.

February 2010. Dr. Huang receives an NSF grant for his project titled "Dynamic Early Filtering of Botnet Garbage Traffic".

November 2009. Prasanth Kalakota successfully defended his dissertation titled "Soft Mobility Techniques for Ensuring Network Availability".

August 2009. Prasanth Kalakota receives an NSF ICCCN travel grant and attends ICCCN 2009 in San Francisco to present the paper "On the Benefits of Early Filtering of Botnet Unwanted Traffic".

May 2009. Dr. Huang receives a Summer Faculty Fellowship Award from AFRL and will work on development of routing software to support early filering of botnet unwanted traffic.

May 2008. Dr. Huang receives a Summer Faculty Fellowship Award from AFRL and will work on the early detection and filtering of botnet command and control (C&C) traffic.

November 2006. Shantnu Chaturvedi receives an NSF ICNP travel grant and will attend ICNP 2006 in Santa Barbara to present the poster "Improving Delay-Tolerant Network Performance Using Forward Routing Information".

October 2006. Dr. Huang attends HAPCW 2006 in Santa Fe to present the paper "Roaming Data Redundancy for Assurance in Critical Data Services".

June 2006. Dr. Huang and Jeff Janies attend ICC 2006 in Istanbul, Turkey, to present the paper "SUMP: A Secure Unicast Messaging Protocol for Wireless Ad Hoc Sensor Networks".
